Browse Data on Digital Opportunity in Texas

These interactive charts provide insights into the current state of digital opportunity in Texas. The Broadband Development Office (BDO) has gathered and analyzed data from Texas communities as well as national, public datasets to gain evidence-driven insights into the state of digital opportunity, and to set goals for the next five years and beyond. View the plan here.

Access to Services Matters.

Every day, important societal activities like banking, working, and applying for jobs are moving online – sometimes exclusively. Some of these activities cannot be done at all without internet-enabled technology.

The Texas Digital Opportunity Plan aims for 95% of Texans to be able to use the internet to access essential services by 2030 (using those that access healthcare information and services as a baseline).
